
Biography
Noa is a harpist based in Fort Lauderdale, and Tallahassee, Florida. She currently plays with Florida State University’s Orchestras and other affiliated ensembles, and was previously principal harp of the Broward Symphony Orchestra and Florida Youth Orchestra. Noa has played with various other musical ensembles, including the Naples Harp Ensemble, Arts Planet, Alhambra Orchestra, South Florida Symphony Orchestra, Greater Miami Youth Symphony, Lynn Philharmonia, Ocala Symphony Orchestra, PBA University Oratorio and Concert Choirs, Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, and more.
Notable achievements include absolute first place in the Young Artist and Concerto category at the UK International Music Competition along with the Poetic Interpretation Special Prize. In the London Young Musician Concerto Competition, she won the gold prize and the Characteristic Performance Special Prize, and won first prize in the North International Music Competition. She was a high score winner in the Basel International Online Harp Competition, achieved third place in the Alhambra Orchestra Concerto Competition, and won first place in the American Protegé Concerto Competition, which invited her to a solo recital at Carnegie Hall.
She has been featured as a soloist with the Camerata of Naples, Broward Symphony Orchestra, Alhambra Orchestra, Florida Youth Orchestra, and Camerata Di Magdalena. One notable performance was a collaboration with Latin-Grammy winning flautist Nestor Torres, where they performed Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto in C major.
Noa participated in the Miami Music Festival as an orchestral fellow under the tutelage of Deborah Fleisher, and the New World Symphony Side-by-Side with Phoebe Powell. She also studied with harpist Sivan Magen at the Musica Mundi Course in Waterloo, Belgium and studied with Dr. June Han at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. Noa has been invited by other orchestral programs like the Eastern Music Festival, Brevard Music Center, and the New England Conservatory Summer Orchestral Institute.
Noa studied with Dickie, Deborah, and Kayo Ishimaru-Fleisher, principal harpists of the Naples Philharmonic and Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. She has had masterclasses from Parker Ramsay, Antoine Malette-Chénier, Giuseppina Ciarla, and Juan Riveros, and is currently studying with professor Dr. Noël Wan at Florida State University, to pursue a bachelor’s of music in harp performance.
